What is SOS? SOS is a community website focused on artistic expression in the form of graphic design, writing, tattoo and fashion. And...uh...you'll notice there's also this 'art' category that is kind of a catchall. If your preferred medium happens to be oil on rottweiler, then it probably belongs in 'art'.

SameOldSlime is a place for those feeling unfulfilled by other online portfolios. While nice in theory, many of them are absolute shit. They're all excessively specialized to the point where your pictures go here, your t-shirts go there, and your short stories go somewhere else. Well holy shit guess what, there are people who write, photograph, design, tattoo, etc. We want one intelligent source for all our creations. As it stands you are forced to put your photos on a huge database full of idiots and their vacation snaps, your stories on a site brimming with worthless fan fiction and your drawings end up floating around somewhere next to some god awful anime thingy of an elf seducing a troll or whatever. Your other option is to pull it all together and create your own retarded blog. Either way the result is the same: no one sees your stuff.

SameOldSlime attempts to help you with this. One source for all your creations. We also aim for strong moderation. If we don't like it, we remove it. That's it. We're pretty lenient, but we're not interested in pictures of your room or poems about what a bitch your gym teacher is. Bottom line, put up work that you are proud of and expect criticism. Criticism is an integral aspect of art. It's necessary. If you can't tolerate someone telling you that your shirt design is so terrible they wouldn't even put it on a passed out friend as a joke then you should leave. This is a place for people who are serious about their art.
